Kerry: "Now Miss Rice, I have nothing against you personally. I just think you should admit that the administration has really fouled things up for the last four years and has no business continueing with its policies. If you would just admit that then we will get along splendidly."

Rice: "Ok, Mr senator. I admit it. We have no business being in charge. We should just listen to the democratic party line. You really are the great thinkers of our day. There, is that better?

Kerry:"Yes, Miss Rice. Now doesn't that feel better? Now we don't have to continue bludgeoning you. You can help us bludgeon the president and get along a lot better with us."

Boxer:"Now that we are on the same page Ms. Rice, can you give us some real garbage on George and Dick so we can really get some value out of these hearings? What stock do they own that is affected by all these operations in the middle east?"

Rice:"Actually their major investments are in U.S. savings bonds. They have everything tied up through a payroll plan where they work."

Kerry:"Hmmm, sounds like a front for some subversive action. I'll have my staff check it out."

Boxer:"Good going Johnnie, now Ms. Rice what about the man himself? Surely George must be doing things that are contrary to our democratic party platform, er I mean our constitution which we could call him out on. Come on Condie spill your guts."

Rice:"Well, I have heard him say that he looks to a 'special' resource for a lot of his decisions."

Boxer:"Hey, now you're talking. Who is this 'special' resource? Are we talking about a big payoff from his oil partnerships. Is that why he wants to invade Iraq to preserve the oil monopolies as they are?"

Rice:"Well, not exactly"

Kerry:"Well, what then? What is his 'special' resource? Remember we are just about to cast our votes on your nomination. Yea or nay?

Rice:"The truth is that when he gets ready to make a decision he spends time in prayer over how grave his responsibilities are to the American people."

Kerry and Boxer:"Hunhhhhhhhhhh?"
